BOP Books on Photography

What a brilliant weekend of conversations and connections at the Books on Photography festival in Bristol. Great to see familiar faces and to meet new people. Thank you so much BoP Bristol for having us at the Martin Parr Foundation. And thank you, thank you to all the people who stopped at our table to look at my book, to buy a copy, or to chat. I know my work touches on difficult subject matter, bringing all kinds of grief and fear and sadness to the fore. I’m used to talking about dementia; I appreciate that not everyone is, nor does everyone want to talk about it. To those of you who shared snippets of your stories with me, I am honoured. And to everyone affected by this cruel illness, solidarity. Thanks again to all involved for providing this wonderful platform for connection.
